Forming young people in the Faith is one of the most important tasks entrusted to our parish. Our parish Religious Education team partners with the families of our parish to assist them in fulfilling their vocation to evangelize their children.
Fomar a los jóvenes en la Fe es una de las tareas más importantes encomendadas a nuestra parroquia. El equipo de Educación Religiosa de nuestra parroquia se asocia con las familias de nuestra parroquia para ayudarnos a cumplir su vocación de evangelizar a sus hijos.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
English Classes will start on Sunday, August 20th from 8:45-10:15am. Like everything, if something comes up from the Diocese or the Health Department from Elkhart we will let you know. We are using the St. John Religious Education Facebook page and St. John Facebook page to put our updates/information and registrations.
Clases en Español comenzarán el domingo 20 de agosto de 12:45 pm a 2:15 pm. Como todo, si surge algo de la Diócesis o del Departamento de Salud de Elkhart, se lo haremos saber. Estamos utilizando la página de Facebook de St. John para poner nuestras actualizaciones/información e inscripciones.

REGISTRATION
Before registering your child for religious education classes, please review the religious education handbook. As explained above, you are the primary protagonist of your child's religious formation. We are here to assist you in this role, but you must take the lead. Our handbook outlines the responsibilities you must be ready to take on to fulfill this vital role, which is critical to your fulfillment of your vocation as a parent:
Religious Ed Handbook
The church requires a two-year program for those receiving Sacraments. If your child is to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation this year, he or she must have attended religious education the previous year.

Antes de inscribir a su hijo en clases de educación religiosa, revise el manual de educación religiosa.
