Junior Class

The Junior Preschool Class is offered for children 4 - 5 years of age. There are three options parents can choose from:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday for half day

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday for full day

  • Monday thru Friday, all day

 

The half day option is from 8:00 a.m.  - 11:00 a.m. The full day option is from 8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m. Children are eligible to participate in Eagle’s Nest, the after school program.

 

PeeWee Class

The PeeWee Preschool Class is offered for children 3 - 4 years of age. There are three options parents can choose from:

  • Tuesday, Thursday for half day

  • Tuesday, thursday for full day

  • Monday thru Friday, all day

 

The half day option is from 8:00 a.m.  - 11:00 a.m. The full day option is from 8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m. Children are eligible to participate in Eagle’s Nest, the after school program.

Kindergarten through Grade 6 

All classes, including full-day Kindergarten, are in attendance from 7:40 a.m. - 2:35 p.m. We maintain limited class sizes at an average of 20 students per classroom. St. John School is state accredited and we follow Indiana State Standards. All classroom teachers are licensed and several classes are supported by teacher aides. Our students represent a diverse population. Kindergarten thru Grade 6 participate in additional classes including computer, library, music, art and physical education.

St. John School provides a unique experience for our students and allows them to grow into well-balanced children. Our Catholic faith enables our students to establish a Christian foundation in which they can learn the values of life. We welcome and accept all faiths.

After School Program 

Eagle’s Nest is our after school program that runs from 2:35 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. This program is offered to our students at $4.00/hour. Eagle’s Nest provides care for your child(ren) where they can complete homework, receive academic assistance from volunteers, and participate in free play.
