Now Hiring: Social distancing and sanitization compliance supervisor

St. John the Evangelist Parish seeks a part time employee to supervise compliance with social distancing procedures and cleaning of our facilities during Saturday afternoon and Sunday Masses.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age

• Available weekends

• Speaks English and Spanish

• Able to lead teams and supervise others

• Thorough attention to detail

• Permission to work in the United States

Duties:

• Hours: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Saturdays; 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Sundays

• Additional hours may be necessary to run training sessions for cleaning crews and ushers.

• This position will be needed as long as social distancing requirements for public events are in place. (We expect at least through the end of July.)

• Further opportunities for employment after this date could be available.

• Coordinate arrival of usher and cleaning teams

• Ensure knowledge of cleaning standards and social distancing requirements by volunteers and attendees.

• Enforce social distancing policies on the part of volunteers and attendees.

• Verify correct completion of cleaning procedures following each Mass by volunteer cleaning crews, assisting as needed.

• Serve as point of reference for all inquiries and procedures during Saturday and Sunday Masses.
