COVID-19 Response 3/24/20

Dear St. John's Parishioners,

May the Lord's blessings be upon you and your loved ones during this difficult time! As we seek to respond to the COVID-19 crisis and keep our community safe, we need to make further changes to our operations at St. John the Evangelist Parish. Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25, our parish offices will be closed to the public. We will still be available to you via phone (574.533.3385) or email (parishoffice@stjohncatholic.com) from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday, but for your safety and the safety of our community, it will not be possible to access the office buildings. Many of our staff members will be working from home, but everyone will be checking and responding to voicemails and emails during office hours, so rest assured that we will answer your calls and emails as soon as possible.

Masses and community gatherings remain suspended until further notice. If you need to go to confession, please contact a priest directly by calling us at 574.533.3385 or emailing frgregerson@stjohncatholic.com or jarroyo@stjohncatholic.com. Our church remains open for prayer as well, and we invite you to participate in our live-streamed Sunday Masses (9 a.m. English and 10:30 a.m. Spanish) on our parish Facebook page (facebook.com/stjohngoshen). Our parish Facebook page is also the best place to find up-to-date parish news and videos on how to continue living the Faith at home. You do not need a Facebook account to access this page! You can also stay tuned to the "News" section of our parish website (stjohncatholic.com).

Queridos parroquianos de S. Juan Evangelista,

¡Que las bendiciones del Señor sean sobre usted y sus seres queridos durante estos tiempos difíciles! Mientras buscamos responder al crisis de COVID-19 y mantener seguro a nuestra comunidad, debemos hacer unos cambios adicionales a nuestras operaciones aquí en la parroquia de S. Juan Evangelista. A partir de mañana, miércoles, 25 de marzo, nuestras oficinas estarán cerradas al público. Permanecemos disponibles a servirle por teléfono (574.533.3385) o email (parishoffice@stjohncatholic.com), pero para la seguridad de usted y de nuestra comunidad, no será posible entrar en los edificios de la parroquia (con excepción de la iglesia). Muchos de nuestros empleados están trabajando de sus hogares, pero estaremos pendientes siempre a nuestros emails y correos de voz.

Las Misas y otras reuniones o liturgias quedan suspendidos hasta nuevo aviso. La iglesia permanence abierta para la oración, y le invitamos a juntar con nosotros virtualmente en la Santa Misa Dominical presentada por live-stream en Facebook (facebook.com/stjohngoshen -- 9 a.m. inglés y 10:30 a.m. español). Nuestra página de Facebook es el lugar mejor para encontrar las noticias más recientes de la parroquia y también mucho contenido sobre como seguir viviendo nuestra fe católica en su hogar. ¡No tiene que tener una cuenta de Facebook para aceder!

¡Le extrañamos muchísimo y esperamos verle pronto! Que el Señor protege a todas las personas vulnerables en nuestra comunidad y todos que tienen la cura de los enfermos. ¡Y que nuestra Señor, salud de los enfermos, interceda por nosotros!
